Pure Beeswax
Beeswax has its own naturally warm, subtle honey aroma, so there is no need for artificial fragrance. As the candle burns, it creates a beautiful golden glow and a gentle ambience that feels wonderfully cosy and natural.
From Our Hives
Pi Akau Honey is a family owned beekeeping business based in Marlborough, with hives throughout the top of the South Island. Creating our candles allows us to make use of another precious product from the hive and celebrate much more than just the honey our bees produce.
Handmade in Small Batches
Each candle is individually made by hand, so slight variations in colour and finish are part of its natural character. Beeswax can range from pale golden yellow through to deeper honey tones depending on the wax and season.
Naturally Beautiful
With their warm colour, subtle beeswax scent and timeless simplicity, these candles look beautiful displayed throughout the home and make an especially lovely addition to a bedside table, dining setting or quiet evening ritual.
