Hansby Design

At Hansby Design, art is inspired by the beauty and character of New Zealand and Australasian wildlife. Created by Auckland artist Cathy Hansby, each piece blends modern design with a deep appreciation for nature, resulting in contemporary artworks that feel bold, expressive, and full of personality.

Using freehand digital illustration techniques, Hansby Design creates striking wildlife art prints and lifestyle products that celebrate native birds and animals through clean lines, rich detail, and timeless design. From iconic New Zealand species to global wildlife inspirations, every collection is designed to bring warmth, creativity, and a connection to nature into the home.

More than artwork, Hansby Design is about storytelling, conservation, and creating meaningful pieces that inspire appreciation for the natural world. With a focus on quality craftsmanship and sustainable values, the brand brings together modern art and wildlife in a way that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to nature.
